After finishing the Specialized Artistic Studies in Music as a violinist (Nossa Senhora do Cabo Music School, Portugal), she concluded her Degree in Music / Viola in 2018 (Mr. Pedro Saglimbeni Muñoz's class) at the Superior School of Music from Lisbon, Portugal. In June 2021, she concluded the Master of Arts / Concert / Viola at Haute École de Genève-Neuchatel- HEM-SO, in Geneva, Switzerland, in the class of Mr. Máté Szűcs.

Experience / Qualifications

At the professional level, in 2018 she was selected, by contest, as 1st Reinforcement of the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra-OSP / National Theatre of São Carlos, with which she has been assiduously collaborating. Also in 2018, by contest, she was selected to be part of the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra - OCCO. In addition to OSP and OCCO, she has collaborated on such varied musical projects as the Melleo Harmonia Orchestra, the New Lisbon Opera, the Lisbon Poetry Orchestra – LPO - or the Lisbon Film Orchestra - LFO, among many others.
In the end of 2019, by contest, she has been admitted as a substitute viola tutti of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande – OSR. Still in Switzerland, she participated in several orchestral and chamber music projects.
In March of 2021, by contest, she has been admitted in the Diploma of Advanced Studies in orchestral performance in the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and HEM awarded by the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HES-SO).
Besides having experience playing as a professional violist, since 2020 she starting giving private viola classes, in Geneva, Switzerland.

I am certified by the Friborg Conservatory and I am currently playing in the United Nations Orchestra. I am studying in Geneva and I give violin lessons for beginners. As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years.

*Maximilian is the violinist of Ensemble Contrechamps (Geneva) and a PhD candidate at the University of Leiden with prior degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Max has performed in major venues across Europe, The Americas and the Middle East as an orchestral & chamber musician, and as a soloist.
