About Me

I'm Vasilii.
I've been playing the violin since childhood and now I have extensive experience as a professional musician and teacher.
I believe the most important thing in learning music is the joy of playing. Working on technique and intonation, developing muscle memory, developing sound, and learning new pieces—it's a whole world full of challenges and room for growth.
We'll learn violin skills, explore the basics of music theory, and develop our ear, sense of rhythm, and a sense of musical phrasing. We'll learn both academic and popular repertoire, depending on your goals and preferences.

As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.
