Italian as a Foreign Language at levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1. You will learn not only the grammar and vocabulary of the Italian language, but also how to communicate with native speakers or hold a conversation, as well as gaining an overview of Italian culture, history and society.

I have been a revision teacher in the private sector for quite some time. My classes are based on offering the student the possibility of having comfortable and playful learning at the same time, so as not to focus study time solely on concepts. I help with possible tasks that are sent to them, and to prepare for exams. My goal is to help the student advance and learn without overloading him, making classes a support and not an ordeal for anyone. Depending on the student's continuous progress, I usually give some tasks after each lesson, to know how far their understanding of what has been given has come and what we should improve or place more emphasis on. My methodology is based more on the acquisition of fluency when conversing through fluid dialogues. I also use web resources to make the practice more enjoyable and to reinforce other areas of the language, such as the culture of a Spanish-speaking country. The methodology depends a lot on the student and the level they have, children learn easier through games and riddles, while the adults take advantage of more conventional forms of teaching. For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above. You might wonder why I teach both languages. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
