My name is Luca (♀︎) and I have lived abroad for 8 years (America, England and China). I have been attending international schools since 2008 and currently studying English at the University of Groningen. I have 5 years of tutoring experience and really enjoy working with children and helping them with the English language. I think it is important that the children learn the language well, but that they also enjoy it.

It can be difficult to write essays in perfect English, especially as an international student. There is no need to worry! I can help with that. Coming from a British School, I speak and write in perfect English. I have a lot of experience in the art of crafting a perfect essay. If you send me your completed essay, I can thoroughly proofread it for you and correct any grammar and structural mistakes. I can also give you some suggestions on how to make the essay clear and compelling. I myself am a medicine student, but I have experience in writing essays in many fields. For anyone who would like to give their English skills a real boost during the summer holidays! Do you have some spare time during the holidays and you would like to work on your English skills? In this class you can work on your speaking skills and your vocabulary. Direct feedback is very important while learning a language, which is why it helps to have someone there to correct you in real time. I have my BA in English linguistics and can help you with how you can use your first language to get better at a second or third language you are learning. I've been teaching for several years, starting with teaching physical education and after some time stood in front of the class teaching students Dutch and history.
