I previously lived abroad for a few years in the Netherlands where I volunteered with a local organization to help people improve their English-speaking skills weekly. I also was learning Dutch, so I can understand the difficulties of learning a new language - pronunciation, spelling, sentence construction, or even finding the best words to speak.

It's important to me to be a good listener. I want to hear how you speak and pronounce your English words so I can help you by showing you what can be improved.

Another aspect is to make you feel completely comfortable in order to allow you the opportunities to showcase your English with speaking. Learning a new language is difficult and can make you feel vulnerable, but with me, there is no reason to feel shy or embarrassed. (I'm a student learning Dutch too, so I know the feeling!)

Communication is so important to me that it's my educational background! I connect well with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds - I love to learn about other people through travels and fun conversation.
