In my lessons, I carefully teach you how to hold the instrument, the shape of your hands, make a good sound, and how to practice to improve, all tailored to your levels. I believe that improving your instruments requires steady practice and patience at first. Even five minutes a day is better than not touching the instruments at all. If you make it a daily habit for a week, two weeks, a month, six months, or a year, your level will definitely improve, you will be able to play the songs you want to play, and you will experience the joy of playing. Even if you cannot touch an instrument, singing loud out or in your head can still practice, and you will realize how important it is for improving your musical ability and expressing yourself. Why not try expressing the words of your heart that you normally cannot put into words through the sound of the instruments? I would be happy to help you improve your musical life.

My name is Sakura. I am a baroque violinist, graduated with a master of early music department at Koninglijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. I play the modern violin, viola, medieval fiddle and keyboard instruments as well.
Happy to share the music with you with all of my experiences of my music life and what I learned. Started playing the piano at 3 years old and the violin at 7 years old, then went to the music high school and Tokyo university of the Art in Japan. Also, I have learned classical ballet, traditional Japanese dance, playing the Koto, etc. All of that experience and fun are in my music. I hope to help you enjoy music even more.

About Me

My music education started from the piano and the modern violin, and I studied hard but I was fascinated by the sound and performing style of period instruments orchestra at 16 years old, and up to now. I enjoy exploring and performing the instrumental techniques and performance expressions of 16th to 19th century music on the baroque violin / viola and the medieval fiddle.
In 2017, I received 3rd prize in the ensemble competition “Maurizio Pratola” (Italy) with Les Petit Riens, and 2nd prize in the “Premio Bonporti International Baroque Violin Competition” (Italy).
I am currently performing and recording with international period instrument ensembles in The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Taiwan, China and Japan, including Bremer Barock Orchester, Le Concert des Nations orchestra and Bach Collegium Japan, Castello Consort, Luthers Bach Ensemble, Dutch Baroque, La Sfera, La Sorpresa etc.

Hello! I am a classically trained pianist with a Master's Degree from the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
I have 9 years of teaching experience, with students from all ages and levels. My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations while passing on my knowledge to help the student develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music.

I organize 2 class concerts per year in a beautiful venue, so that the pupils perform their favourite pieces and showcase their progress to family, friends, and classmates.

During the lessons, there are several aspects of piano playing that I can help with, according to the student's aims and musical level:

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making.

I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces.

Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo.

Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory.

I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs.

Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score.

Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom.

I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training.

Currently students from 4 to 75 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive.

Hello!

I am an undergraduate student of Den Haag's Royal Conservatoire jazz department. I'm giving jazz piano/ classical piano/ music theory/ear training lessons for students of every level. Together, we can learn how to think of harmony/ chords, how to improvise over tunes, and how we can apply music theory on the keyboard. Also, we can work on piano technique through exercises, etudes and classical piano repertoire. I'm really passionate about music, and my main goal is to pass my love to other people. Hi all! My name is Anna Jane, and I am a violinist and teacher based in The Hague. My own musical journey began at age four in Florida with Suzuki training, progressed through classical studies and fiddle jams in Nashville, and culminated in baroque-specific training at The Juilliard School and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Throughout my years of studying and performing, teaching has been a constant and meaningful focus. Some of my teaching experience includes:
