I’m passionate about helping others understand and appreciate the beauty of math and physics. With a BSc in Astronomy (Physics) from the University of Groningen and upcoming MSc studies at Leiden University, I’ve developed a strong foundation in both subjects. While I don’t yet have formal tutoring experience, I’ve taught Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes to beginners, which taught me how to break down complex topics and adapt my teaching to different learning styles. I feel most confident and enthusiastic about tutoring high school and early university-level math and physics. I’m eager to gain experience, support students in their learning journey, and continue growing as an educator.

About Me
I believe many students struggle with math and physics not because the subjects are inherently too difficult, but because they’ve never had someone explain them clearly and meaningfully. In many cases, high school teachers may lack a deep understanding of these topics, which limits their ability to convey the beauty and logic behind them.
During my Bachelor's in Astronomy (Physics), I developed a solid and intuitive grasp of both math and physics, and I’ve grown passionate about sharing that understanding with curious young minds. I see these subjects not just as academic requirements, but as elegant systems that can become fascinating when taught well.
What sets me apart is my patience, diligence, and ability to connect with beginners. I believe curiosity is essential for learning, and I aim to spark that curiosity through relatable examples and clear explanations. I especially enjoy working with motivated high school or early university students who are open to seeing math and physics from a new, more engaging perspective.
