About Me

My name is Virginia. I am a language teacher to different levels and age groups. I define myself as a positive and creative person.
I have a degree with high honors in Language Society and Communication (Russian and English) and I am certified to teach English and Italian to speakers of other languages (DITALS and CELTA). I have several experiences abroad, both for study and work.
I consider myself a versatile teacher since I have had the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds. I have developed interactive and stimulating lessons and my goal is to maintain a communicative classroom and to motivate students. My tasks include finding interactive and innovative ways for teaching and for facilitating language learning, but also empathizing and having good listening skills. I am motivated and I have a passion for teaching, learning, and using foreign languages. My ability to motivate students and my ability to work under pressure combine with patience and perseverance. Many of my students have benefited from my warm and kind approach to teaching. I am available also for translations and Exam preparation.

I have worked as a tutor for several years, mostly primary school children, and this experience has enabled me to pursue two passions: teaching and math.
