I am Ioannis and I am an officially certified math teacher with an inherent passion for teaching the subject.

I have acquired both a Bachelor's (NKUA) and a Master's degree (University of Helsinki) in Mathematics. I have further solidified my status as an officially certified math teacher by completing pedagogical studies (University of Helsinki).

I offer tutoring for high school and university level Mathematics: please contact me with information on what you need help with.

I facilitate online (usually via Zoom) and contact teaching and have significant previous experience in both.

-For online teaching, I use a pen tablet where you can follow my writing without having to spend time coping everything down as I can later share the notes with you. This way you can focus more on understanding!
-For contact teaching, I use the whiteboard that I have.

I am always patient, encourage questions and facilitate in-depth learning. Moreover, I strongly believe that with practice and determination anyone can succeed in Mathematics.

My teaching style is interactive: I ask and I am happy to answer lots of questions to ensure that you really understand the topic discussed. You shouldn't be afraid of giving a wrong answer as making mistakes is a crucial part of the learning process!

Finally, I am flexible and open to try different methods that suit your profile as a student the most.

About Me
I’m currently a first-year bachelor’s student at the School of Science in Aalto University, where I secured a highly competitive full-tuition scholarship thanks to my SAT score (1540: Math 790, English 750). I’ve been an SAT tutor for over a year now, teaching both group classes and one-on-one sessions. In total, I’ve helped more than 70 students reach their SAT goals. Back in Bangladesh, I worked as an SAT instructor at Mentors' and developed the SAT teaching curriculum at Noetic. How My Classes Work
The SAT is all about finding patterns and mastering the "game". My classes are structured to help you do exactly that. In each class, I will teach you some theoretical basics first and then make you go through some actual SAT problems related to those basics.
