My lessons adapt to the specific needs of each pupil. Each person has unique physical features (hand sizes, body structure..), mental abilities (concentration, confidence etc) so I aim to adapt the lessons to their needs and personal preferences while striving for development while having fun. A little about me: I started my studies when I was 6 years old in Portugal. Did my bachelor at Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, Belgium, and then moved to London where I completed my Masters and Professional diploma at the Royal Academy of Music. I have always been very passionate about teaching because I believe everyone can learn if given the proper attention and information adapted to their needs. I believe I am a very patient and creative teacher which helps me find ways to keep my pupils progressing while happy about learning. To improve my teaching skills I took the LRAM teaching course at the Royal Academy of Music (London) where teaching is developed in great detail. I am also happy that I gained a great deal of knowledge and experience by having been an Ambassador for the Benedetti Foundation. My mothertongue is French but I am totally passionated about Japanese language. I lived 5 years in Japan and taught French at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. Also, I've always been obsessed with learning processes and improvement of learning methods, for French and Japanese. That's why my approach is totally different to traditional language learning or to "school language learning". Math is very hard especially when you hear on the news how fast it is going downhill. I like to do it and like to pass it on. I am patient and can also explain well. I also received an award for mathematics and like to do it. Besides mathematics I can also teach physics and Latin.
