Law Classes - Exams, Test, LNAT Tutoring by LSE Law Graduate and Future Trainee Solicitor

Hi! I am a recent LLB in Laws graduate from LSE. I have taught law tuition to degree level students who have secured high 2.1 and first grades in their examinations. My method of teaching is not to make you memorise the law but to understand the law in a simplistic manner, using laymen terms to explain the law which can be often complex or daunting to comprehend. During our sessions, I aim to finish a topic within a class or two before we tackle past year questions together.

After our sessions, I will also encourage the student to use mindmaps/diagrams to consolidate his/her understanding. The student is free to attempt past year questions and we can go through it together during our next session as well. My method of teaching law has resulted in a former student of mine to score a first class honours grade in her EU Law examination earlier this year.

Subjects which I can teach, having taken them at LSE include public law, property and trust law, company law, competition law, jurisprudence, tort law, IT law, EU Law and criminal law.

Beyond teaching law, I can also help students with their applications to law firms, having secured a Vacation Scheme and a Training Contract.

Looking forward to our classes and helping you realise your potential!

Education

I am a recent LSE LLB in Laws graduate where I achieved a high 2.1. Before LSE, I managed to achieve 3A*s 1A for my CIE A levels. Beyond that, I have undertaken professional jazz lessons besides regularly performing in Malaysia and London.

Experience / Qualifications

I am a jazz/pop pianist. I was the LSE jazz pianist and have been regularly performing at various gigs, functions and even hotels in Malaysian and London. I have taught several students how to play pop/jazz/play by ear and ever since they have achieved independence in playing the tunes they enjoy and I hope to do the same with you.

Law Course Level License L1 to L3 - (Private and Public)
As a young lawyer, I explain the law as I would have liked to have been taught to me when I was a student: in a simple, enlightened and rigorous way. I emphasize the method and the thinking of my students. I hold a Master 2 in real estate law, two Masters (urban planning and private litigation) and a License. Before that, I obtained my literary baccalaureate, English specialty (promotion majore. I studied at the faculty of Caen, and I obtained my M2 in Brest, with honors. I have a mixed profile, and I can therefore intervene in both Private Law and Public Law. In addition to the course points that can be addressed again for further explanation, it is essential to understand the method (of stop commentary, essay and practical case) as well as how to conduct legal research and to take advantage of it for exams. I am also available for students who cannot organize themselves in their workload, who are lost in what they are asked to do. We will see how to organize without stressing yourself, in order to be effective without getting tired. I will put my experience as a student and a young lawyer in the service of the student in order to focus on the important elements during his studies. I will propose my method of learning. I do not intervene for the preparation of the CRFPA. See you soon !

Law and Economics in today's global world | Discussion based
As a coherent interdisciplinary movement, the roots of law and economics can be traced back to the mid-twentieth century, when Ronald Coase pioneered the foundations of the field with his groundbreaking findings through interdisciplinary approaches. The movement gained prominence in the 1970s and 1980s through the work of Richard Posner and Guido Calabresi, who took the economic analysis into new unchartered territories such tort law , criminal justice , and emerging technologies. Today, it is one of the most established disciplines in law; policymakers (elected officials, judges, as well as, public administrators) seek its impact and influence. This class focuses on the importance and impact of economic theory on legal jurisprudence in various pressing global issues: unfair competition, traditional and intellectual property rights, machine learning and artificial intelligence, global financial regulation, and legislative agendas. I can be flexible about the schedule so let me know if you are interested but cannot make it due to conflicting schedules. I will try my best to match your schedule.
