-I prefer maximum flexibility to enable my students to fully grasp each new concept before moving on.
I take a step by step approach where I do not move on until my student is able to apply new knowledge in various types of example problems. I also use stories and audio-visuals when teaching for best possible understanding. this isn't very easy to do with some of the subjects I teach but I still find a way to do so to the best of my ability.
-I had been teaching a lot of my colleagues back in secondary school and college in my main subjects of expertise, all of which went on to graduate with above average results. I also have experience as a teaching assistant with primary school pupils all of which with my help and the teachers displayed consistent performances in their homework and tests
-I give regular test and homework which I review in the following session and are designed to be challenging yet motivating.

About Me

I am a UCL mechanical engineering graduate and a really committed QTS qualified maths teacher with over 4 years diverse prior experience tutoring and teaching where I learnt the best ways to impart knowledge. I have great communication skill and patience. I’m very familiar with most curriculums and exam boards in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at KS3 up to KS5 (A-Levels). I also have a strong and consistent track record of improving my students expected grade by at least 1 grade boundary.

If you book me ideally this should be over at least a month to give me a chance to cover a topic properly and ensure your full understanding. I have a policy of never moving on until my students have passed my checks for understanding. This way I am sure you get full value for your money.

Most lessons will involve me doing a model or two on my tablet while sharing my screen and then giving you a chance to attempt minimally different questions after which if you are successful, I can then increase the layer of complexity or if not remodel.
