In the field of art you can find plenty of different styles and associate them with a specific artist. Specific styles we will go over include Impressionism, Abstract art, Surrealism, Pop art, Modern art, and Minimalism. As an artist, you'll need to learn how to explore varying styles and creative aspects. I've designed this course as a basic guide on exploring different ways to approach your art and honing on a specific style. You'll learn how to differentiate between various styles, try to develop art in specific styles influenced by famous artists or art periods, and to adapt your own style by using it in a unique way that will define your artworks.

Hi, My name is Jeremy and I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed. I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles.
