About Me

I am a native English speaker, born and educated in London. I moved to Paris in 2004 and now living in Bordeaux since 2019.

I love working with children and young people. I have spent the past 17 years of my career working for a British organisation, working with vulnerable young people in care and education. I am an experienced Private Tutor and can add a sense of fun and meaning to young minds learning a new language.

Conversational Spanish is a very important part of the learning as it is the natural way to learn it. My classes are designed to help students to learn in a natural way by choosing a topic and dealing with that topic from all angles: grammar, speaking, listening and translating. That helps students to gradually absorb what they are studying. I usually conduct a relaxing lesson where students feel they can improve and learn at their own pace.
Even if you are an absolute beginner you will be able to speak some Spanish by the end of the first lesson.
