Bonjour !

My name is Solène, I am a French student in Business and Management at ESCP Europe Business School, and I am doing an internship in London.
I also speak Spanish as I spent a year in Madrid for my studies. During this year I gave French lessons to Spanish students and children 3 times a week. I loved this experience and seeing my students improve so quickly was a feeling that I am looking forward to feel again!

My method to give classes is to push the student to learn by doing fun exercises, games etc. The most important part of a language is the speaking so I would mainly focus on that but I can of course adapt to the needs of the student.

I would adapt my teaching method according to the age and the needs of the student and I am willing to give my best to make him/her enjoy French classes as much as possible !!

About Me

Hey ! My name is Solène, I am French and I am currently studying Business. I am also doing an internship in Amsterdam so that is why I am here right now !
Last year I lived in Madrid for my studies and I had the chance to gives French classes during the all year. I really liked doing that and my student improved a lot throughout the year.

In terms of teaching, I'd rather do games with children so that they get to like the language while learning it and focus on speaking with adults as I think this is the most important part. However, I can adapt to your need and I would be happy if you have any suggestions!

To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.
