About Me

I am a certified Spanish tutor (Instituto Cervantes) from Venezuela. I have teaching Spanish for more than 6 years now in Ecuador and Turkey. I also hold a bachelor un Librarianship.

I love teaching my language. I prefer to focus on conversation in every lesson, so I combine the grammar explanations with full speaking practice. It is important to focus on the student goals, so after some levels we might agree on having tests to let the students know their strengths and weaknesses during the process. I'am always willing to use sources as games and songs as well.

While my main focus is on conversation, I can also tailor my lessons for those who prefer a more grammar-focused approach. Conversational Spanish is a very important part of the learning as it is the natural way to learn it. My classes are designed to help students to learn in a natural way by choosing a topic and dealing with that topic from all angles: grammar, speaking, listening and translating. That helps students to gradually absorb what they are studying. I usually conduct a relaxing lesson where students feel they can improve and learn at their own pace.
Even if you are an absolute beginner you will be able to speak some Spanish by the end of the first lesson.
