About Me

The most important aspect of my teaching is a personalised and very patient approach, catering to the needs of each individual student. Whether you need help with general concepts or preparing for exams, I am happy to assist!
I use a variety of tools to teach. In person, I find it helpful to discuss ideas with pen and paper. Online I usually prefer to use a digital pad which is convenient for graphics, drawings and symbols.

Education

A while back I obtained a Bachelor and Master's degree at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, after which I moved to the United States to obtain a Ph.D. in mathematics.

My name is Ségolène (26 years old). I have a double degree from KULeuven with a Master of Business Administration (NL/EN) as well as the agrégation (Educatieve Master). I worked for 2 years in insurance and currently work at Odoo.

My mother tongue is French, but from a very young age, I was educated in Dutch, which allowed me to become perfectly bilingual. I love supporting my students and seeing them progress. I offer academic support in any subject but also to help them learn how to learn, become better organized, and gain confidence.

MY EXPERIENCE :

I helped several students to pass the CE1D exam in Dutch (written, oral, listening comprehension). In addition, I also assisted students with their homework and for various subjects at secondary level (Maths, Handel (commerce), Sciences: WO, NW...).
Finally, it is also possible for younger children to learn Dutch in a fun way (language games, educational games).
