Literacy deals with alphabets and the sounds they make individually which makes blending them and reading easier. Numeracy deals with the magic that children can do with numbers which includes the recognition of single numbers and combining them to make bigger numbers, adding two or more numbers together to make one number and counting objects then writing the number.
