WJEC LEVEL 3 criminology applied diploma tutoring & support
From 24 £ /h
Hi, im ava! I left sixth form last year and I’m currently in my first year of uni. I got a B overall in my level 3 criminology & I think someone who may be in the position I was in during year 12/13 may benefit from my help and guidance if they’re struggling with the course. I can be there to support you in creating folders for your controlled assessments, work through past papers, explain mark schemes and prepare you for those unit 2 & 4 exams. I’ve completed this course myself and sat the exams , I understand what examiners want to see from students & how to best prepare for controlled assessments. I ultimately just want to be a helping hand to anyone who needs it, as sometimes it just takes someone around your own age who understands exactly how you’re feeling to give you that confidence to do well, and ensure you don’t make the same mistakes I made to loose silly marks.

About Me
Hi! I’m Ava, im a first year uni student studying law. I left sixth form in 2023 with qualifications in BTEC extended certificate in health and social care (D*) , a level history (D) and WJEC level 3 applied diploma in criminology (B).
I completely understand my grades are nothing exceptional, however I took the complete wrong approach towards a level season. For that reason I want to be a tutor that students can come to and relate to. I understand the stress of a levels and I feel like sometimes all you need is someone around your age to just explain things in a simpler way.
I want to help people not make the same mistakes I did when it comes to revision techniques, time management & knowing what examiners want to see. I sat these exams/ completed coursework in the last year and know my way around the content for each subject I did in sixth form.
I understand what revision tactics work and can guide revision with you, narrowing down the specifications and supporting you with the topics you’re struggling to grasp. I’ll be able to help on any health and social coursework and exam preparations. I want to be the person you can come to with any “silly questions” and be the person to explain things to you in simpler terms then the fancy words in textbooks.
I’m more than happy to work around schedules, environments and comfort zones.
