About Me

I can describe myself as someone in love with music and teaching. During my last seven years of training, I have combined this with my work as a teacher of music and saxophone at the private level and in some schools in Spain and Switzerland. During this time, I had the opportunity to learn from my teachers and my students to develop different pedagogical techniques focused on facilitating the learning of my students, aimed at all levels and all ages. Experience / Qualifications

Marcos begins his musical and educational training in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), in the Conservatory of Music of Tenerife and the University of La Laguna). His love for pedagogy and music led him to teach music reinforcement and music theory lessons to some of his classmates at the university. During his training in Tenerife he began to participate in different sets of music and orquestes, combining different styles of music (classical, Latin, modern, pop-rock ...). Just after completing his studies in Tenerife (2011) he decided to move to the Iberian Peninsula to pursue his ambitions and he began his bachelor studies with the excellent teacher and saxophonist Mariano García in the Conservatory of Music of Aragón at the same time. He began his career as a saxophone teacher in some schools and academies in Zaragoza. Just after finishing with excellent qualifications his Bachelor (2015) he begins his Master of Education in the University of Zaragoza and at the same time he prepares the admission examinations of the High School of Music of Lausanne. Fortunately in the year 2016 he finds a place as a master student at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne with Professor and saxophonist Pierre-Stéphane Meugé and also a place as saxophone teacher at the International School of Lausanne / International School of Lausanne, and the following year in the École Nouvelle of French-speaking Switzerland, he successfully completed his master's studies in May 2018.
