I give painting and drawing lessons from my studio in Lausanne, Switzerland. I have a BFA from the Washington University School of Fine Arts ( St.Louis, Mo.) and a MFA from Parsons School of Design ( NYC )
I currently teach a drawing course for Pepperdine University - Lausanne Campus. My focus is teaching students "how to see" and constructing images clearly on a 2D surface. The studio is centrally located with natural north light and can accommodate 1-3 students at a time. My specialty is oil painting but I am also deeply knowledgeable in watercolor, pastels, ink, charcoal, acrylic, conte-crayon, graphite.

I suggest that students draw the characters they like (Walt Disney Characters, Pixar, Manga, comics, actor, footballer, singer, etc.) or create a character according to a theme (example: football-> a footballer, a trainer , a supporter, / bakery -> a baker, a personified cupcake, animated). For those who prefer and love animals, I suggest drawing animals from a photo that they like (example: a rabbit), to make the same animal, but so cartoon or cartoon (example: Bugs bunny or Judy in Zootopie), then to create a board of expression with this character, to draw him to laugh, to cry, to be surprised, angry, etc. As techniques, I provide the gray pencils and colors, as well as TOUCH twin marker pens.

Holder of a Master in Fine Arts from the University of Porto, I am passionate about drawing. With a great experience in illustration, I have collaborated in the development of several children's books and carried out numerous exhibitions in Switzerland, Portugal and Spain.
Having a great desire to share my know-how and my experience with any interested person, regardless of age, I would like to invite you to come to my workshop to teach you how to express your feelings and passions through drawing.
In the workshop, you will learn to draw through different techniques, processes, and thanks to my experience, I will give you some tips on different themes and supports. Classes will also allow you to change the way you see and represent the world.
A theme chosen in advance will allow us to start the workshop, which can focus on a technique, an artist, a color, a text, etc. This will be our starting point.
