About Me
Naomi started playing the viola at the age of 7. She later joined the Boulogne Billancourt conservatory in DEM (musical studies diploma) in the class of Sébastien Levy, then the Aubervilliers La Courneuve conservatory in CPES (preparatory course for higher studies) in the class of Marie Lèbre. At the same time, she began playing the guitar as an autodidact and very early on, she developed an obsession with the composer, saxophonist John Zorn and his musical experiments which pushed her to start composing.

At 18, she finally enrolled at the electric bass conservatory with Olivier Lété and, a year later, joined a DEM course dedicated to creative music. She then began to practice free improvisation, which opened up new possibilities for her in the use of her instruments, both in the search for timbres and in extended techniques close to contemporary music.

As part of her studies, she has the opportunity to work with the Van Kuijk quartet and the Voce quartet, Garth Knox, Philippe Pannier, Joëlle Léandre, Sarah Murcia and Johan Renard.

In 2020, she decided to join forces with three other eclectic musicians and co-created the project "Paillette 121", an unpredictable jazz-rock group with Klezmer and Arab-Andalusian sounds.

In 2021, she moved to Lausanne for her classical viola studies at the Haute école, not without giving primary importance to her work on bass and composition.

In 2023-24 she won two prizes on electric bass with the duo Baix and at the same time began a master's degree in musical pedagogy at the Haute école de musique in Lausanne.

Having obtained my Bachelor's degree in June 2024, I will start a master's degree in classical viola pedagogy from September. I also play electric bass in several groups (see bio). Student at the Haute école de musique in Lausanne in classical viola, I play electric bass and I perform in several groups (baix/paillette 121/Aggro Topings)
My electric bass lessons are based above all on the musical tastes and desires of the learner. I also like to look at effects pedals to optimize the sound I'm looking for.
My favorite genres are punk/progressive rock/math rock/experimental.
It is possible to take lessons at home (I have two amps available).

I give drum lessons instead of Vallon 12, in my studio, equipped with 2 drums and recording equipment.

I consider that learning can only be done while having fun, so I adapt almost all my lessons to the desires of my students, while keeping a course of action to follow, based on methods that have been developed. proven to be very effective over the years.

I teach any style of music making sure the basics are solid. (Rock, Funk, Groove, Jazz, Samba, Latin, Metal, Fusion, ...) It is important for me that the student tells me about his desires, his tastes, and to know what the student has desire to learn. Of course, I can come up with tons of songs, but it is always more interesting for the student to bring me what they want to learn.

My local is a recording studio. This means that I record and film sessions with students from time to time. It is very rewarding to see / hear yourself play, even very early in learning, and this service is an integral part of the lessons and is something quite rare in drum lessons in the region.

I enjoy a familiar atmosphere, without pressure, to focus on the essentials in a relaxed way :-)

About the teacher:
Studied drums at the Sleack Kaven School in Lausanne.
Drummer in many Swiss and international groups, specializing in extreme, technical and progressive metal, as well as electro-groove.
Great experience of concerts all over Europe, as well as various recording studios, as well as recording in my personal studio.

Drums teacher since 2016 at the ENSR in Lausanne.
Drums teacher between 2018-2020 at GimmeMusic School, in Etoy.
Private drums teacher since 2017.

The clarinet is a fascinating instrument. Its woody timbre, its tessitura close to the voice offers a wide range of musical directions. Whether you want to play classical, jazz, song or world music, we will progress together to connect the song and the instrument. To develop the breath, to consolidate its supports, to feel the rhythm and to shine the melodies, that is the objective!

I adapt my method according to each student but here are the central points of my educational work:

- Warm up: stretching and breathing

- Sound work: beak, held notes, harmonics *

- Technique: ranges, transpositions *

- Repertoire: Piece being learned, reading *, improvisation.

* confirmed students

SINGING

I attach particular importance to the link between song and instrument. Singing the songs and even the scales improves the musicality, the phrasing, the accuracy to the instrument.

MEMORY

As much as possible, I ask to memorize the pieces. Knowing how to sing a song before playing it is for me the best way to integrate it.

Have you always dreamed of playing the violin, but never took the plunge? You started as a child, and have been itching to start itching for weeks? Do you already play in a group and want to improve your technique? Whoever you are, this course is for you!
Graduated in pedagogy from the Hochschule de Freiburg im Breisgau, I finished a master at the HEMU in Lausanne a few months ago, and I want to share my passion for music, through courses that can adapt to all ages and all tastes. Chamber music groups are welcome! I will complete, according to your desires and your needs, by music theory, the history of music, a work on posture and breathing ... I am also trained in early music, and very willingly teach the baroque violin.
The violin is a chameleon: it can slip into all styles, and tell a multitude of stories. It's your turn!

Hello,

My name is Marco, and I invite you to pass on my passion for the guitar, and more broadly for music.

Music brings a lot. Whether it's emotions, personal satisfaction, moments of grace, whether you're a spectator or on stage, encounters and exchanges that are so interesting with other musicians...

My goal is to send you enough motivation and pleasure so that you never give up on this inexhaustible source of joy and discovery.

To achieve this, my main tool, as in music, will be listening.
Listening to you, understanding what you dream of achieving, then helping you get there, this is my method. So my experience and my knowledge will allow us to approach the styles that interest you: Songs, Pop, Rock, Folk, Fingerstyle, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Bossa nova, Samba... as much as to accompany you in your own creations .

So during our first session we will discuss the artists and guitarists who are close to our hearts. If you already know songs, you can play them for me, easily, without stress, and for the most advanced among you, it will even be an opportunity to jam.

Whether it's for you or your child, whether you're a student or a retiree, I'm interested in all profiles, because everyone can have fun learning to play the guitar.

See you soon !

Marco

A graduate of the Higher School of Music and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Performance, with extensive experience teaching in schools, conservatories, and private lessons, I offer piano lessons tailored to all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians. My method is based on a structured progression, blending technique, musicality, and the joy of playing.
