What a JOY to play the violin!

I play music since I was a child, and violin will always be my first love. Our relationship together is very beautiful and complex, and during the last 19 years I never put it away. First years of studying the violin were not piece of cake! For that reason I understand both the passion and the struggle of anyone who wants to learn and to become better at it.

In my class, we will dive together in the secrets of violin playing and will find the right techniques and exercises that will make things easier and natural for you. Depending on the level and on the music that you wish to play, we will approach diverse repertoire.

Children, teenagers and adults are welcomed to my class. All levels as well!

My experience with teaching was built during my studying years, when performing as a professional musician and working as a private teacher for children and adults. Obtaining a violin performer degree and a teaching degree at National University of Music Bucharest, together with studying abroad, completed and improved my teaching experience as well.

I can borrow you a violin and a bow, if necessary, but it would be great if you already have them.
We can always discuss the available schedule.

About Me

I am here to help you discover the violin, one of the most complex and interesting instruments.
Violin is my passion since I was very small and I am willing to pass on my passion and my musical knowledge to you.

Education

I have graduated the National University of Music Bucharest in 2019, with a bachelor degree in violin performance and a psycho-pedagogical qualification for teaching violin.
I also studied at Kunst Universitat Graz for one academic year, as an Erasmus student.
In 2015 I have graduated from Dinu Lipatti National College of Art.
During my career I have studied with prestigious violinists and great music teachers, such as Florin Croitoru, Silvia Marcovici, Razvan Stoica, Magdalena Ursu, Popa Tania etc

Professional violinist with pedagogical diploma.
Do you want to learn to play the violin or viola at your own pace and in a relaxed atmosphere? Without mandatory theory lessons, without pressure, stress or exams? Are you busy with school, or with other hobbies? Or is music school not compatible with a job and do you prefer the personal approach of private lessons? Then you can come to me for a solid lesson package, which we can adapt to your personal expectations and ambitions. This can be weekly, biweekly, or whatever, with or without theory. You can come to me both during the day and in the evening, a fixed day is not necessary either.

You do not need to have any prior knowledge of music theory or an instrument. Everyone can contact me, from beginners to advanced conservatory students. Emmanuel's methodology:
Only private lessons of at least 1.5 hours long. You only pay for an hour, but you stay longer until you know the techniques.
Lessons can be given on a short or long basis, depending on the intended purpose.
Stand-alone lessons are also possible, if necessary this lesson is divided over 2 consecutive days.

After finishing my studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco (Musikene), I am now in Ghent for my Master's degree at the Kask Konservatorium & School of Arts Ghent. I am eager to share the knowledge I have acquired and to help students who are really interested in advancing in the world of the cello, both musically and technically, as well as to transmit to my students the versatility of our instrument and its beauty.

I focus especially on the relaxation of the body in order to find a good quality sound. Starting with a methodology adapted to the level of the student, together we can make great progress in the subject!

Hello, my name is Silvia!
I am an Italian student of Violin, currently attending the Postgraduate Musical Performance Practice at KASK & Conservatorium in Gent.
I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children, teenagers and young adults. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career.
