A tenured violinist at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège and a graduate of the Geneva University of Music (Bachelor), the Amsterdam Conservatory (Master) and the IMEP in Namur (Master in Pedagogy), I have 10 years of teaching experience. I teach classes for all ages and levels (French or English), no musical knowledge is required and the repertoire can include any style of music. If necessary and in parallel with violin lessons, I can give music theory lessons. I travel to your home (Liège and surrounding areas) and I have a vehicle. Passionate about research on the well-being of the musician, I base my lessons on relaxation, good humor and the desires of the student in order to create a bond of trust and better progress. Breathing, awareness of the body and feelings, work on posture, development of sound and liberation of expression. I also offer personalized support for students preparing for exams or conservatory entrance exams. I take working with my students and sharing my passion for music with great seriousness and pleasure. Don't hesitate to contact me!

About Me
I have been a tenured violinist at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège since February 2025. Previously, I also worked with major orchestras in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France. Today, I divide my time between my main activity in the orchestra, teaching, and chamber music. My career has taken me to many European cities—Geneva, Amsterdam, Paris, Luxembourg, etc.—where I have enriched my artistic practice through contact with diverse musicians and cultures. Through my 10 years of teaching experience and my internships through my Master's in Didactics, I have met a wide range of different students with whom I have been able to develop my unique and effective learning method.
Education
Hélène began playing the violin at the age of 7 and four years later entered the young talent section of the IMEP (Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy) in the class of Igor Tkatchouk. As a young talent, she has won numerous national and international competitions. In 2016, she received the Thirionet Fund Prize (a scholarship from the Province of Namur dedicated to young artists). Hélène holds a Bachelor's degree from the Geneva University of Music (class of Marie-Annick Nicolas), a Master's degree from the Amsterdam Conservatory (class of Eliot Lawson and Ilya Grubert), and a second Master's degree in violin pedagogy from the IMEP (Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy) in Namur.
