About Me

Hello, my name is Alexandra and I have been teaching portuguese to foreigners since 2008. I have a degree in social communication with a postgraduate degree in markets and consumers and for about 12 years I worked in record labels in the area of promotion and marketing. But I wanted to travel, spend months, years, travelling so I decided to teach portuguese online. This way I could be in all world.
I regularly teach classes to members of the Canadian Ministry of Global Affairs in Ottawa and also to a professional language school in Chicago - "ELT, Executive Language Training". I also have several private students from different countries, professions and ages.
In my travels I did a lot of volunteer work. Since building bamboo houses, to treating abandoned dogs and cats in Indonesia and Thailand. I have performed in Bollywood films in India and taught English for children in Cambodia and Vietnam and I worked in receptions at hostels in several cities.
Always working with the locals. Each with their culture, with their language, with their religion. Unique and unforgettable experiences.
I am from Lisbon but I am currently living in Évora.
