Homework will be set when necessary but I will always take into consideration the students' school timetable first. I will happily provide progress reports.

For Bachelor students in History/International Relations/ related subjects the classes are individually designed to address the concerns of the student. This could include clarifying topics/knowledge or essay/exam help for example.

About Me

Personally, I would describe myself as positive, upbeat and with a real passion for academia. I spent my 20s living in Germany and I am now London based. I enjoy yoga, travel and reading to name a few of my hobbies. I am completing my PhD and hope to later teach at university level. Both my parents are teachers and work in academia.

As a PhD student I have been through all stages of education and am still actively learning myself, which means I can both sympathise and empathise with my students. I believe there is no one way to teach and so my style of teaching will change based on individual students' needs. There is no such thing as a bad question and I enjoy helping those who are not scared to get the answer wrong. I hope that my students will bring happy energy and enthusiasm to the class.

I am a recent graduate happy to tutor in history, politics or economics as well as broader essay writing or university applications. I have a first class MA in International Politics from King's College London, a BA in History and Politics from Oxford University, A* in history, politics and economics at A-Level, and 10 A* at GCSE. The history of Theatre censorship and the Royal Court Theatre is crucial to understanding Edward Bond's Saved.

This class will give you the opportunity to explore these complex texts with a practising playwright, and the expanded knowledge of these plays will give you that edge when it comes to the exam.
