A philologist with MPhil degree from Cambridge University and PhD from the Russian University of Humanities, I have been teaching Russian and English, as well as humanities, since the early 2000s, both offline (at the time it was the only way!) and online. Background in journalism and wide international experience I lived and worked in India and in the United States before moving to the UK have helped me to familiarize with different educational systems and taught me how to work with people of various backgrounds, cultures and interests. Working with both adults and children, I am always looking for ways to arouse students' interest in a subject and encourage them to ask questions. Each student has unique needs, so all my classes are tailored, and I am doing my best to make our joint learning adventure as exciting as possible. As a native speaker in both languages and as a linguaphile who took interest in learning other languages such as Spanish and Arabic, I am aware of the struggles that might come with attempting to learn a new language.
