About Me
Hi, my name is Pim!
I grew up in Amsterdam and went to the Ignatiusgymnasium to do my (Dutch equivalent of) A-levels. Then I lived in France (Dijon) for two years, studied at Sciences Po and now I enjoy living in London (King's Cross), studying at UCL. As I get a spot on the LSE next year, I'll be staying here for a while!
I have a great passion for languages and am currently fluent in Dutch, French and English. I also understand most of German and can translate Latin texts.
I work with people with different language skills and backgrounds and I like to adapt to everyone's specific needs. Learning a language is a lengthy process that requires personal adjustment and because I have experience in foreign language learning, I know how difficult it can be at times.
The good thing about languages, however, is that there's always a logic in it, a code, if you will, which, once you start deciphering it, opens up a whole new world!
