Hello! My name is Valeria and I am from Perú. I am a native Spanish speaker that have 3 years of tutoring experience. I will make your Spanish better through many real-life examples, conversation and grammar exercises. My goal is to understand the expectations of my students in order to customize the classes and satisfy their needs. As a native Spanish speaker I am, I offer particular Spanish classes for people of any level. Since the methodology I use is based essentially in conversation but also in useful resources and dynamic activities to develop oneself's skills, I can easily adapt the class to the student's need.

From my experience, I have realized a language can only be learnt by acquiring the need to speak it. For that reason, basing classes on spontaneous and natural conversations is the best way to become fluent. Would be a pleasure to be part of your Spanish learning process!

I recently graduated from the Lycée Franco Allemand (French German high school) in Saarbrücken, Germany but grew up in a french-speaking household, which allowed me to have a natural, bilingual uprising and excellent knowledge in both these languages. Later on in high school I also improved my English level by studying for 6 months at the Parklands Languages High School in Chorley, Lancastershire.

Since I am currently enrolled at the Maastricht Science Program at the University of Maastricht and had been following rigorous scientific education during my high school (Biology and Chemistry specialisation), I can offer tutoring in any classes and especially in the Sciences in English, French or German.

Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world; if you dream of Spain or Latin America, then, learning this language is definitely on your list.

I am willing to help you improve your language skills. As my nationality is German, I speak this language fluently. I used to live in Spain for nine years, that is why the Spanish language is no problem either. I am an International Business Student at Maastricht University, so my studies are constantly in English and it is the language I mostly use during my daily life.

I passed the IB diploma program for Biology Standard Level with full marks, I also received a 7 on my Internal Assessment (IA). I have a very good grasp on what the IB expects from it's students (all the weird and wonderful little criteria.) I have a very good grasp on Biology the subject itself, as it was one of my favorite classes and I understand the concepts on a broader and more minute scale, so I can help students to understand the topics as well as the specifics and how they all play into one another. I aim to provide students with not just the memorization of information in a somewhat robotic sense, but an actual understanding and comfortable grasp on all the topics, ideas and concepts. I can help with any homework or course work provided, including providing feedback and guidance on essays and assignments. I also like to set out extra homework (not difficult, just based on our sessions) to get back to me at the next meeting so that the student's confidence and grasp on the subjects continues to build and I can see where exactly they need assistance.

In the tutoring I first determine the level of the student and based on that I see in which areas the student needs help. I provide that help by offering written assignments and oral interactions. Sometimes I do a quiz to determine the student's progress.
