I am a CELTA qualified teacher with 3 years of experience and I specialise in teaching business and general English.

I have taught one on one classes to executives in technology and finance companies. I have also spent 2 years teaching legal English in one of Spain's top corporate law firms.

In my classes I focus on providing highly focused and tailor-made lessons which add value to my students. I will spend the first class analysing what you want and need. I will then draft a plan which sets out the syllabus. My classes will feature speaking, writing, grammar, listening as well as any specific requests that you have such as translation.

Prior to working as a tutor I worked in corporate law, litigation and investment banking.

The main objective of the course is to develop the linguistic skills of writing, spelling and punctuation, necessary for the adequate production of texts. The proposal consists of a theoretical / practical methodology, which is why each class is divided between exposing the content and putting it into practice. The priority of the class is conversation as a means of teaching. The classes are taught in lessons per module, a total of four, where the students will interact in the development of the classroom, seeking learning in the interdisciplinary context.

In module one and two, the aim is to reach the basic level through everyday conversations that are essential for learning the first words and phrases, enriching the knowledge of grammar. Arriving at modules three and four, the student will feel more confident when speaking, writing, reading and listening to the language through the topics raised.

Both reading and writing are disciplines that require, today more than ever, periodic exercise and constant encouragement. For this, it is convenient to know the concerns and interest in the different subjects of each reader, regardless of their age.

We must bear in mind that we are facing a paradigm shift and that technological progress affects our ways of communicating: the language we use as and the different forms of expression.

To encourage children, as well as adolescents, to read, we need to motivate them, provide them with tools that allow them to discover the expressive and playful possibilities that these activities entail. In this way they will be able to face this activity in an active and participatory way, and not just passive (responding to a duty imposed by a teacher).
