Mi nombre es Miriam y me encanta viajar, aprender sobre diferentes culturas y conocer gente nueva.
Empecé a tocar el violín cuando tenía 3 años y la empecé a tocar en orquesta con 8 años.

Learning to play the violin decently is already an achievement, so it's not worth thinking about anything else.

I have many years of experience teaching at all levels, but I enjoy the first steps.

My goal is to give you the tools you need to understand how the violin works.

My training? I've been playing the violin since I was 3 years old, and at 8 I started playing in orchestras. At 16 I had my first concerts at the National Auditorium of Spain. I studied violin at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid and continued my training by studying a master's degree in performance in Holland, as well as a violin pedagogy course.

People of all ages are welcome in my classes, regardless of whether they are starting from scratch or have prior knowledge. I always try to respond to the individual needs of each student and design classes according to their objectives. For me, learning to play an instrument is not only about acquiring the proper technique, but also about developing one's own musical and artistic personality. To this end, I always work with my students on works that, in addition to helping them advance technically, are attractive and interesting for them, in order to foster their motivation.
Throughout my career I have worked with students of all ages, both viola and violin. I have been a violin and viola teacher in various music schools in Holland and Germany, and I currently work as a viola teacher at the Official Music and Dance Center "Musical Martí", in Madrid.

About me: I have a degree in viola from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (Holland). Subsequently, I completed my Master in Interpretation at the Utrecht Higher Conservatory. I consider myself a patient and enthusiastic person and I believe that, with the right tools, everyone can learn music.

Hello! I'm Maria, a professional Portuguese harpist and passionate about music and teaching. I graduated in Harp from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (Netherlands) and hold a Master's degree in Performance from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen (Belgium).
