I focus greatly on motivating students and adapting teaching techniques according to each student's learning style, to ensure maximum potential of language acquisition.

Each lesson is structured as introductory of new topics and performing results through understanding as effective listening, reading and writing and plenty of focus on speaking to establish a firm foundation of each topic, building on each to provide learning fluidity and confident performance.

Tailored exercises and homework are to be set and these are to be touched upon at the start of each lesson. Reinforcement and continuity are implemented. I take into account students' interests and meta requirements as part of lessons plans.

About Me

I teach in a bespoke manner, aimed at edifying confident speakers within the shortest time possible, taking into consideration primarily the sphere of initial language requirements, in addition to core skills practice attained through listening, speaking, reading and writing. Where required, I provide support with correction of pronunciation through diverse methods, including phonetic rendering.

My CLT (communicative language teaching) method is suited to both non and academic students, focusing on the initial acquisition of grammar induced through speaking, rather than directly learning it. This method is more in line with the narural way in which we acquire our mother tongues and makes for fluent and confident speakers. Later in the course, core grammar modules are covered and tailored requirements catered for.

My students are submersed in a completely English speaking environment in my lessons.

I am a supportive and naturally intuitive tutor and I have the drive to guide students to their full potential, nurturing personal achievements.

Currently studying political science in Lille, I want to find a job using my achievements of high school according to the method taught in preparatory class for examinations of IEP.

The pupil is initially aware of his difficulties and misunderstanding. Then, tasks and recitations are realized to improve the level of the student in the subject.

The principle is to fill the gaps of the student according to a logic of interaction with the teacher. To avoid getting close to formal schooling, visual aids can be used. The student may also be encouraged to write lesson cards and to synthesize the course given by the high school teacher.

Hello,

I'm English and currently living in Marseille for a couple of months in order to learn some French. I'm probably an intermediate French speaker - 5 years at school and 6 weeks of intensive classes here in Marseille.

You will learn Spanish and / or English in a dynamic way with exercises that promote the learning of the language to use it in everyday life as well as in a more formal or even specific setting. My goal is that you can use the language to communicate fluently and enjoy it.

To do this, I use non-formal education methods, these are activities that make it possible to implement the knowledge already acquired of the language and to improve and deepen its level, but also to formal education by explaining grammar or dispelling doubts in order to teach them to express themselves well in writing and orally in formal or informal situations.

In summary, the student will learn grammar and pronunciation through conversations and games.

In addition, the courses will be adapted to the needs and requirements of the student. I offer online courses with multiple digital tools or face-to-face at the student's home if possible.

Hello! My name is Kate and I am an Australian who is has been living in France since 2019. I am fluent in French and English is obviously my native language.

My educational background: I hold a Masters of Art Therapy from The University of Paris with a major in music therapy, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with majors in Music and Psychology, and a Diploma of Languages with a major in French from The University of Queensland, Australia.

As a native English speaker my goal is to instill confidence in my students (of all ages) of their ability to speak, use, and understand English. I use a variety of interactive methods including songs, actions, rhymes, books, and music. I am firm believer in 'trying' and as such I will encourage my students to use their English, regardless of how many faults they may make. It is only from making errors, that we can improve! Additionally, I am happy to work on assignments, test preparation, or any other English homework which may need completing. I can provide homework, or extension tasks as required.

My lessons are largely immersion based, and as such I will avoid the use of French, unless an explanation is needed for clarity. I am happy to adapt to the needs of my students.

I have been teaching English in France since 2019. Prior to arriving in France, I tutored for over two years in Australia, aiding students from ages 8 to 17 with a variety of subjects including English, maths, science, music, and french. I have extensive experience with children: I have been a scout leader since 2020 in Marseille, and have been involved with Girl Guides Australia since I was 7 years old, eventually leading a group of 10-17 year olds for over 4 years before arriving to France.

I am located near Metro Prado, but can travel throughout Marseille. Depending on distance, travel costs may be in addition to class fees.

I have a valid working with children background check in Australia, and hold first aid qualifications in France (PSC1).
