Mathematics and Physics tutoring for all students (primary school, middle school, high school and university)

The idea of these lessons is to help students with their homework and doubts regarding the classes that they are taking on maths or physics. It is normal to face difficulties with these topics, I believe that as an engineer I have a more practical approach towards these subjects, which allows me to teach the student in such a way that he can easily remember and appropriate knowledge. I hope to do this a fun experience to enable the student to fall in love with these subjects.

About Me

I am a really passionate student. My main interests are mathematics, physics, programming and history. I was a teacher assistant at my home university for over two years and a half, giving lessons, designing problems and correcting student work. I like students that want to learn and that have the desire to succeed. I don't mind questions and will do my best to help my students to avoid frustration and get not only knowledge but also guidance. My biggest hope is to share my passion with my students.

I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. I arrived at Milan in september 2024 to study my master's degree as part of a double degree program at Politecnico di Milano. I studied my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at "Universidad de los Andes" in Bogota. The master's degree I am currently studying is also on mechanical engineering.

Education

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, "Universidad de los Andes", Colombia. Currently studying a Master's degree in mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Milano.

Experience / Qualifications

- Teacher assistant for over two years and a half at my home university. I guided and designed lessons for students, correct their work and designed the tasks.
The idea of these lessons is to get a first approach to python, one of the most used programming languages worldwide due to its friendship with the user. This course will present the basics of it by beginning with the installation of the compiler, going on to the variable types, loops in python, functions and finally presenting some simple useful libraries to plot graphs, execute mathematic functions and do some data analysis. This course is designed after the structure that was used at my university during the introductory course to programming. I would like to highlight that this course has a strong emphasis on logic since this is a fundamental tool to extrapolate what I will try to teach you to other programming languages such as excel's visual basic. I hope to be able to transmit my passion to the student in a fun and safe environment.

Mathematics / Physics for Middle / High School and University students in ENGLISH and / or RUSSIAN
Ciao, I see you have an interest in me as your potential tutor! Here is a bit of description about my teaching experience: I am a tutor of Math and Physics for Middle, High School and University students for almost 10 years in ENGLISH, RUSSIAN and KAZAKH languages. My students were successfully acing the Finals, successfully enrolling in Lyceums and Universities. In almost all the cases, my students were initially thinking that they lack the talent or skill to be good in Mathematics and/or Physics, that "they are not that type of person that can succeed in a particular field of studies". Solution of this problem is simple and obvious, explain them that it's not all about talent but constant improvement with smaller steps and hard work, and to try friendlier approach of teaching. So my first lesson is aimed at finding the key for the student. Having a tutor with a more flexible approach in teaching helps to build friendly relations with the student, so both of us will have willing to attend the next lesson:) It is very hard to keep this balance between being a strict teacher asking homework and a friend that you can text in the messenger outside the class just to discuss some TikTok trend. So I will try my best to get one more friend and successful student! The program of my course is flexible and depending on the final purpose (Preparation for the exam, improving marks in the school) and time that we have. My lessons are usually a little bit longer than one hour or two, because of the "learning curve phenomena" I always make 5-10 minutes break, specifically the online classes. After every lesson, I give the Homework to the student and at the beginning of every next lesson we are checking results, making corrections and I ask to explain the solution, if needed. My main goal is to make student not only understand the topic but also to make them able to explain the concept themselves, and obviously passing their exams :)

Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacher
I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a perfect knowledge of the mathematics program of the College and the High School (from the Sixth to the Terminale). During my formative years, I studied and developed many techniques that make it easier to learn math. The strength of my pedagogical approach lies in my ability to explain in a simple way everything that the student finds complicated. I am passionate about this job because it gives me the opportunity to guide dropout students on the path to success. It is a real pleasure to see them evolve and come to terms with the fantastic world of mathematics. I provide my private lessons in Limoges (at the student's home) or remotely (online via the internet). My distance learning courses take place on an interactive online whiteboard. This board is specially designed to promote student/teacher interaction on the internet. Thanks to this educational tool, my online courses are as effective as home courses. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to take advantage of it.

Salah Eddine
Math tutoring for high school students
As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students tackle subjects that can feel intimidating at first but are incredibly rewarding once you start to understand them. Whether it's Economics, English, or Business, I’ve seen firsthand how small breakthroughs can lead to big moments of confidence. In Economics, I love taking complex concepts like supply and demand, market structures, and economic policies and breaking them down into something that makes sense. I've had many students who started feeling lost, but once we worked through a few examples together, they realized that economics isn’t as difficult as it seems—it’s all about understanding the patterns and relationships. When it comes to English, I’ve helped countless students refine their writing and communication. Whether it’s crafting a compelling essay, improving grammar, or just feeling more comfortable reading difficult texts, I've been there with my students through every step. The best part? Seeing the growth from struggling with basic concepts to confidently expressing themselves in writing and conversation. And in Business, I’ve worked with students ranging from those who dream of running their own companies to those looking to ace their business courses. Together, we dive into the foundations of marketing, management, and finance, and I love seeing those "aha" moments when the dots connect. It’s such an exciting field because it’s all about real-world applications, and I make sure to tie lessons back to the skills students need for future success. What I’ve learned from tutoring in these subjects is that each student has a unique learning style, and my goal is always to tailor the experience to what works best for them. Whether you need extra help preparing for an exam, want to polish your writing, or are looking to understand how business really works in the world, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
