I am a 26 years old teacher, I've been teaching in elementary school since 2020.
I offer practical french lessons for beginners. What I mean with practical is : Lessons that will be usefull for you in your everyday life while you're staying in France.

French is a pretty difficult language that can be really tricky to learn if you don't know where to start, and it can be discouraging to learn things in a language that wont be of use right away.

That's why I'm offering to teach you how to use french in your everyday life:
-How to order in a restaurant
-How to ask for direction
-How to describe something or someone that I see.
-How to understand answers to my questions or questions that french people asks in order to not be completely lost whenever it happens, I can't take it anymore, why do they speak to me in french, I just said "bonjour, une crêpe s'il vous plaît", what do they mean with "vous voulez une serviette?", I just wanted a crêpe please...

I will also adapt to your demand, if you feel that you struggle in a certain domain, just ask me and I'll prepare a lesson on that specific subject.

I've been teaching in schools for a couple of years now, I can assure you that I'll be very professional and that everyting will be easy(kinda) and fun to learn, with a lot of practical situations that will be really usefull for you.

Sorry if my english is not perfect as it's not my mother tongue, but I believe it's good enough to help you progress in french.

About Me

I am a 26 years old french elementary school teacher. I've been teaching french and other subjects since 2020.

I have a project to go abroad in a few years as a french teacher, that's why I'm giving lessons here in the first place, to gain experience and to help english speakers that are in a need to learn the language of the country they're staying in.

I gratuated of a 3 years degree in education science in the Louis Lumière Lyon 2 University in Lyon and then completed a Bachelor degree in education at the INSPE in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

I've been working as a teacher since 2020, I first started as a teacher for 6 years old where I taught them how to read, count, talk in english and in french.
I then worked with 10 years old for the next 2 years and I'm currently working with 8 years old, still teaching them everyting they need to know in elementary school.

Reading books in French is a good way to improve your french skills. Reading in french will allow you to learn new words in their context and also to memorize the structure of the sentence that you will be able to use in our French chat. Your teacher will choose with you a book which will suit your level and your taste. During the lesson, you will also discuss the various topics of the story and work on the construction of sentences.
You will be able to discover famous stories of the french literature rewrite with a simplified terminology.
This method can be used with kids already familiar with some french above 8 years old to give them the taste of reading and discovering new stories. Watching french films is also a good way to improve your understanding. The teacher will suggest a few french films to watch and the course will focus on the various topics of the film. Also, it will be the time to learn the expression of daily life and focus on different language registers.

Having completed my second year of law at the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas, I make my time available in the months of August and September, in order to support dynamically but above all by listening your child's needs in academic support/private lessons.
