My teaching method is based on two points:

Orality and reading.
Indeed, music being a language, it is spoken and written.
It has a grammar, a conjugation, the aim of which is simply to be able to express oneself freely.

The many training courses I have followed, as well as my experience as a musician, allow me to offer teaching adapted to everyone and to all desires: Pop-Jazz or Classical music theory.

My journey :

I have been a music teacher for 14 years, and graduated in 2015 with a DEM in drums and music theory.

After giving a few private lessons here and there, it was in 2010 that I really started teaching, doing replacements in conservatories.
For 7 years, I have been working in a private school, L'École de Musique de Chatou, where I teach more than 40 students.

At the same time, I play for different projects, in electro, in jazz, but also for events.

About Me
Hello !
Musician since childhood, I started playing drums at the Vanves Conservatory, accompanied by Xavier Vercken and Florian Bellecourt. I discovered the pleasure of group music and improvisation. I then decided to finish my training at the CRD in Noisiel, and I obtained my battery DEM there.
These years of learning allowed me to develop my musical personality by diversifying my "speech" through different musical styles (jazz, hip hop, rock, Latin music, traditional percussion), which I was able to put into practice through different projects, live and in the studio.

It was through this journey that I understood that the drums are an instrument like any other, that we are a musician, and that we too can express ourselves.
And it has become the center of my pedagogy: to give you the method and the tools which will allow you to reach your objectives, to play as you want, to develop your own musical personality.

Music is a language, and like any language, it puts a grammar, codes and a discourse at the service of communication; with me you will learn to communicate, exchange and thus be FREE with your instrument.
Education
Obtaining the end of studies certificate at the CrC de Vanves in 2011
Unanimous obtaining a DEM for Battery at CRD de Noisiel in 2015.
Obtaining a CFEM in Solfège at CRD de Noisiel in 2017.
Experience / Qualifications
From 2012 to today, regular replacement at the Vanves Conservatory and at the Massy-Palaiseau CRD;
For 4 years I have been teaching in a private school, L'Ecole de Musique de Chatou
I have been playing regularly for 15 years in various artistic or event projects, ranging from jazz to electro through rock, world music, Latin music.

Mastering the English language is a major asset in life. I designed this course to learn the basics of this language and to get the student to deepen his knowledge towards more complex grammatical and conjugation notions. As for drum lessons, I have practiced for almost 10 years and can teach the basics and mastery of this instrument.

I base my classes on passion or creating this passion. Far from me the idea of following a basic and linear program of learning, when it comes to art, we talk about sensations, feelings and emotions! It is therefore necessary to create the musical envy in the student and for that three points are essential:

-Listening: What does the student want? Make it a job? a passion ? Discover an instrument? This is the most important point, because it allows to glimpse the desires of the student in order to prepare a tailor-made educational program so that it is in perfect adequacy with his training and his desires.

Curiosity: It's good to know how to play an instrument, understand it better! I give my classes a cultural dimension to be able to undertake music. It is very important to play well, to understand what we play to be able to grasp all the ins and outs and, who knows, reproduce one day in personal compositions.

- Fun: Playing an instrument is above all fun. This dimension is just as important as working your exercises because without pleasure, there will be no emotions. And without emotions the quality of the game is diminished ... It is for this reason that I try as much as possible to transmit my passion and what makes me feel the music since small to my student.

Whether it is to discover the drums or to improve in a style of music, (rock, jazz, hip hop) each course adapts to the desires and needs of the student. The goal is to motivate you to practice the instrument, through courses combining improvisation, study of a musical work, deciphering of a score, coordination and work of independence.

Only one thing matters, motivation!

I offer saxophone lessons to beginner saxophonists and to already experienced saxophonists.
I also give lessons in improvisation, theory, harmony, music theory and composition.
In short, everything you need to play and improvise in the style of jazz.
During improvisation classes in my music studio, I use accompaniment instead of a jazz rhythm section (piano, bass, and drums). This effectively prepares students for playing in a real band later on.

In addition to saxophone lessons, I can give piano lessons as a second instrument for saxophonists, which is essential in order to understand and hear harmony.
I give lessons at home in Paris in the 16th arrondissement between the Iéna (line 9) and Boissière (line 6) metro stations.
For students who are unable to attend classes in person, I can provide video lessons via WhatsApp.
My job as a teacher is declared. Students can obtain invoices.
I accept students with irregular schedules and availability.
