At the beginning of the painting session we will become familiar with the wet-on-wet technique. We will learn to let the chance of the colors running into each other guide us. How can I capture or portray this place artistically?
The medium can be freely chosen; it can be a photograph or series, a painting, a drawing, a map, a film or something else. It can be a sketch for a larger project or a test system.
Examples of artworks are shown as input, and there are collegial sessions where the participants discuss their designs and get feedback. I support the participants throughout the entire process.
The course is structured in such a way that we alternate between exploring the site and working time in the studio.

I graduated from an art school where I learned all the important classical techniques of drawing, painting and sculpture. I would like to pass on the knowledge I have acquired through my studies and practice and give those who so wish the opportunity to go on a journey into the world of art and improve their language and technique.
The lessons are open to all levels.

When it comes to drawing, one of the biggest obstacles is letting go of self-criticism and just starting and working. We will deal precisely with this difficulty. We will learn through extraordinary exercises how to simply train the hands and at the same time suspend the critical mind.

Later, we will focus on observing the drawings and try to understand the mystery of what works and what doesn't.

My main artworks are films, watercolor paintings and comics.

I'm a visual artist in Berlin graduated in Fine Art School in France. My lessons are based on the specific wishes of my students. I teach drawing, watercolour, charcoal, pastel, acrylic and oil painting techniques. Each medium has its specificity and we will see together what is the most adapted to your desires. I am a professional artist and an art educator. I can teach you oil painting, acrylic painting, pencil/marker drawing, ink painting, calligraphy, etc, whatever you would like to learn. My class is very encouraging and inspiring because I believe everyone has the potential to be a good artist and I only provide another way of thinking.

For two decades, painting has been my steadfast anchor, guiding me through life's ups and downs, and in many ways - saved me in this life.
I feel that the act of painting is a form of meditation - and in my hardest days - Painting has become a tranquil oasis of calm.

In the past 10 years specifically, I've immersed myself in daily painting with oils, and mastering the Alla prima technique (wet on wet technic = one painting in one sitting), however, I have also dabbled in layering and glazing for a while.

I firmly believe that with the right time, space, and personalized instruction, anyone can paint. Whilst oil painting has being rumoured to be very messy (And it can be extremely messy) I have built a clean painting structure, as I am also living with a cleaning freak (the love of my life), a 3 year old child and a boxer dog.

That's why I offer 1-1 tutoring sessions at my place, in a patient, friendly, and instructive environment filled with good vibes and good music (probably the most important ingredient!).
