About Me
As an acting tutor, I bring a wealth of experience both on stage and behind the scenes, which gives me a well-rounded understanding of the craft. Since I began my acting career in 2017, I've had the opportunity to play a range of roles, from Jill in Radiant Vermin to Banquo/Lady MacDuff in Macbeth and Fish in Ghosted. I’ve also explored screen acting, appearing as Ada in A Life in Twelve Notes and Sylvia in Anchor. These varied roles have taught me how to approach characters with depth and flexibility, and I love helping my students find their own voice and interpret roles in a way that feels authentic to them.
My training at the Identity School of Acting, and later with Michelle Payne at Savi Arts, has provided me with a strong foundation in contemporary acting techniques. I don’t just teach theory—I focus on how these techniques can be applied in the real world, helping students grow as performers and find confidence in their craft.
In addition to acting, my experience as a stage manager on productions like There Goes the Bride and Four Felons and a Funeral has given me valuable insight into the logistical and collaborative side of theatre. This background allows me to guide my students through every aspect of a production, from what happens on stage to what goes on behind the scenes.
I understand the pressures of quick changes, costume maintenance, and coordinating a cast, and I make sure my students are prepared for the full scope of production life. My goal as a tutor is to provide practical, industry-focused guidance that will ensure my students are ready for whatever challenges come their way in the world of performance.
