Im a very easy going, fun, Mime & Movement specialist with over 40 yrs professional experience. If you want to learn illusionary Mime, physical theatre, physical comedy, clown or movement skills for stage tv & film, or just want to improve your body confidence, in any other field than you have come to the right place. I have a wealth of teaching experience and knowledge at the highest level, My screen credits include BBC 1 sitcom Not Going Out, mime consultancy for James May’s Man Lab and a personal tutor role on Strictly Come Dancing, ‘Slow Motion Expert’ on Tim Burton’s film Sweeney Todd, collaborated with Andy Serkis for motion capture and movement vocabulary for Ultron and Iron Man, for The Avengers: Age of Ultron. I was the personal mime and movement assistant for Carey Mulligan in Suffragette. I have also written and published a book titled Mime The Gap: Techniques in Mime and Movement available on Amazon. Teaching history includes; The National Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Royal College of Music, The Royal College of Art, The Royal Festival Hall, East 15 Acting School, Identity School of Acting, Mountview and Rose Bruford School of Acting. I also taught at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. I was Head of Movement for Vienna’s English Theatre Academy from 2018 to 2024. I design a two-year acting curriculum that primarily incorporates Lecoq and Physical Theatre techniques. It includes Clown, Mime, Bouffon, Neutral Mask, Commedia Dell’Arte, Greek Tragedy, Larval Mask, Character Mask, Personnage and other subjects such as Chekhov, Shakespeare, Silent Movie Acting, Film Noir Acting, Filmmaking and Acting for Camera.

As a bilingual actor and singer with professional experience in musical theatre, live performance, television, and music projects in Mexico, the United States, and Spain, I also help students connect emotionally with songs, improve stage presence, and build confidence while performing in front of others. My vocal background includes training in musical theatre, jazz singing, gospel music, choral singing, contemporary music, and vocal coaching. Thanks to this variety of styles and techniques, lessons can be adapted for students interested in musical theatre, pop, contemporary music, jazz, or simply discovering and improving their natural voice. One of my biggest priorities is vocal health. Students will learn how their vocal instrument truly works, how to use it correctly, and how to sing safely without hurting themselves. Understanding your voice is just as important as developing it, and I make sure every exercise is done in a healthy and sustainable way. I believe every voice has potential, and every student deserves encouragement, patience, and a positive environment throughout their artistic journey. To improve your confidence in singing and performance, or to greatly improve technique and skill level, these singing lessons are for you! An hour class starts with technique exercises, including body awareness, and then moves into repertoire for the last half an hour. Repertoire is provided, and backing tracks are given for practise. Above all, individualised support and encouragement means that lessons are always fun and inspiring!

Acting is a variety of opportunities: it's playful, as an actor you can work in different fields, theatre, film, voice-over and radio. I can help you to grow and be confident to get into the acting school or into work. Furthermore, I can teach you how to be able to work independently on a role. With children I love to jump into improvisations and see and guide where it goes to create something magnificent. I am a Manchester based actress and I have been working professionally in the Musical Theatre industry for 10 years after graduating from Laine Theatre Arts in 2015.
