Acting on stage is the same as life, but exactly the opposite! This is something I've learnt from my Professor. I believe everything has million points of view and the actor/ess should be able to see true many not only one point. I can guide you true finding the character, building it, all done by boosting your imagination. Whether you're getting ready for student candidate, already studying or graduated, professional actor/ess, I can help you out.
Gaining a place at a top drama school is highly competitive and difficult to achieve. I want to give aspiring acting students the tools and confidence to stand out in their auditions. I will work one to one and taylor sessions to the students needs. I am a trained actor and a freelance theatre director so have experience of the industry and drama school and auditions.
This class is suited to anybody who is preparing to perform a spoken monologue or section of text for an entrance exam, LAMDA exam or who simply wishes to work on their performances skills in general. Working directly with a script of your choice, we will analyse the character and text before working through the script together. You will receive one on one direction and tuition throughout the session and gain confidence in performing your chosen piece of text to a high standard.
1-1 sessions are available in sung voice, spoken voice and performance coaching. The voice is a vital communicative tool. It is a muscle that can be trained in many ways and for many purposes. A realised voice requires no attention on mechanics so that an individual can realise their performance potential. My aim is to support the strengthening and toning of the voice so that even in stressful scenarios, such as making a presentation or performing on stage, the individual can focus on delivering an engaging performance rather than having to think about vocal technicalities.

I trained in classical and opera singing at The Royal Northern College of Music, and for the past 7 years have had a career in operetta and musical theatre. Including lead roles in The Mikado, Pilates of Penzance, Iolanthe and HMS Pinafore with the International Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company, The Merry Widow, Babes in Arms, Out Of Of This World, Free As Air, Cinderella and Peter Pan to name a few. Helping students achieve their personal goals as well as desired results in ABRSM, Trinity, LAMDA, GCSE and A Level exams. I specialise in developing vocal and performance technique especially in the genres of musical theatre and classical singing but love teaching all music genres. The most important thing is finding music you love to sing. I also offer advise on the realities of being a working actor, what to expect from an audition and how to prepare for it, building an audition repertoire and acting though song coaching. I’m here to help anyone from a newbie who wants to build some insight and confidence, to professionals who want to hone their skills. If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch.
