Cours Coaching
CINEMA, ACTING, IMPROVISATION WORKSHOPS - - -
These sessions allow the development of skills and knowledge of the trade, with the game facing the camera, familiarization with the audiovisual environment and the camera tool, in the art of acting. Your inventiveness and your uniqueness being at the center of your training, it is a question of dwelling on the objective criteria, such as the voice, the use of the body, the relationship with the partner, the capacity to occupy the space. But it is also the singularity and the commitment that are decisive. The objective of this training is to be able to: - Analyze and dissect a text - Create, develop and embody a character - Understand the artistic and technical writings of a film or a play - Create, cultivate and develop one's artistic identity and singularity (...) Through simulations and role-playing, the association between theory and practice makes it possible to achieve its objectives. PLACES : - Locations: Geneva - Lausanne - Friborg - Neuchâtel - Montreux - Basel - Sion - Sierre - Morges - Bienne. But currently and until further notice, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions, for which you have asked me, also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). Indeed, they have the advantage of face-to-face sessions (ex: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time) with additional advantages (ex: the entire session transcribed in writing on the chat). That is why, at your request, I continue to offer this option. - As other people do regularly, you can also please your loved ones by offering gift vouchers available all year round. THE TRAINER From a Grande Ecole post-preparatory class in France & Ivy League University in the United States, our teacher has specialized and has worked for more than 14 years in the field, in international establishments, intervening in forums and conferences. CONTACT / PROGRAM A la carte program: evaluated and adapted to each need.

About the teacher: YORGO GLYNATSIS is a Belgian, Greek and Italian film director, writer, producer, actor and creator of the Award Winning LGBTQI+ short film Trigger. Yorgo started his artistic journey at 14 years old acting in theatres in Belgium where he was born. Aspiring for an international career, he moved to London in 2014 and joined the cast of the Immersive project The Den created by the BAFTA-winning director Gbemisola Ikumelo. Following that, he starred in several short films and features ( Remi Milligan: Lost Director, The Adopters, Amazon Prime Naanum Single Thaan). His passion for filmmaking started in 2020 when he wrote scenes for his own acting showreel. Lacking of authentic on screen representation and a desire of using his voice to raise awareness about a past traumatic event, he created the short film Trigger which was nominated in British and International LGBTQI+ festivals and won the award of Best International Short Film at the Fuse International Film Festival in Kingston ( UK/2022). The film is distributed worldwide by Gonella Productions and is available on Amazon Prime UK & US as part of These Untold Secrets. Recently, his short docuseries Well Proud directed and produced for Metro Charity (UK) was nominated for Best Community Short Film at the BAFTA Qualifying Iris Prize Film Festival in Cardiff (UK/2023). Singing lessons for young and old, at your own pace (classical and other styles)
Do you like to sing and want to develop your voice? Great, because singing is great fun and healthy! During my lessons we will explore the possibilities of your voice together. The development of a healthy, natural voice and pleasure are central. That is why the lessons are fully adapted to your qualities, taste and pace. Together we work on a solid singing technique, breathing, articulation, interpretation, musicality and voice hygiene. We explore the classical singing repertoire and look for music that fits your voice. You can also make a trip to other genres (jazz, pop, musical, etc.) You learn to use your voice from a classical approach, but with a good singing technique you can handle a lot of styles! Why you should come to class: - You have always wanted to learn to sing, with or without a specific goal in mind - You are curious about the possibilities for (further) developing your voice - You are looking for a creative outlet - You suffer from a often tired speaking voice and want to make it stronger - You sing in a choir and you want to work on your singing technique or you need some extra help while studying - ... Whatever your motivation, you are always welcome! Do you have questions or doubts about whether singing is something for you? Do not hesitate to contact me.

Learn Professional Filmmaking and/or Acting from an Award Winning Director
Are you studying Film ? Would you like to be a filmmaker? I can help. Associate Lecturer in Film Production, London Metropolitan University; Senior Lecturer in Film, Nottingham Trent University; Lecturer in Film Production and Ideation, University of Hertfordshire; Lecturer in Film, University of Worcester. Working across two departments within the Creative Arts Faculty at the University of Hertfordshire (Film; Animation) and teaching across three levels to more than 300 film and animation students, I developed, promoted and administered film production (BA Film) and ideation (BA Animation). I was also responsible for teaching, learning and assessment in film production at undergraduate level at Nottingham Trent University and Worcestershire University. At London Metropolitan, I redesigned and delivered an interdisciplinary collaborative project module in film production, including film history (70% practical short film; 30% portfolio theory & reflexive). Coming from industry, my approach to teaching is focussed on practical skills; the film industry needs graduates who are ‘set ready’ and able to work collaboratively. I contribute to the planning, delivery and assessment of undergraduate teaching and undertake a wide range of responsibilities including lecturing, mentoring, tutorials, and assessments across the whole range of university year groups. In addition to delivering content, I have developed modules in: Directing; Dealing with Actors; Acting for Camera; Storyboarding; Realism in Animated Thinking; Spectacle in Animated Thinking; History of Film Production; Storyboarding; Short Film Deconstruction; and Live Action Filmmaking for Animators. I strive to consistently provide useful, constructive, and timely informal feedback throughout the course, in addition to the formal assessments; and introduced audio feedback to the film department at Hertfordshire which was an immediate success. My own mentors and professional development have broadened my skills and my experience with course design, course writing and curriculum development. My teaching is across all levels, from theory to practice, which I teach in a symbiotic manner making connections that are then used to reinforce ideas on subject matter, storytelling, and methods of production. My passion for filmmaking, my worldwide experience and my dynamic personality enable me to instinctively motivate and inspire students; lectures are illustrated with interesting examples gained from a long and varied career in the industry. I arrange guest speakers from my network of contacts. I am committed to helping students achieve their full potential and my directorial skills of recognising talent, inspiring and motivating crew have been great assets while working in education. Students learn best when sessions are engaging and fun and led by a motivating and inspiring lecturer. My innovative approaches to teaching have turned out to be invaluable as far as increasing the depth and professionalism in students’ narrative work; strong storytelling is a major part of the reason the University of Hertfordshire’s Animation Department is now TOP 10 in the Rookies world rankings. The Lockdown Film – Isolation 2020 During the Covid pandemic, as part of a strategy to keep students motivated, we made a short film Isolation 2020. This film was made to a professional standard while maintaining all safety protocols and keeping in context with the situation we all found ourselves in.

Singing lessons in English for all levels by professional voice teacher, vocal coach and singer
I'm a former New York City voice teacher/coach, professional singer and an award winning composer who has relocated to Berlin. I've taught with the most reputable children's musical theatre organizations in NYC (TADA!, Brooklyn Children's Theatre, The Neighborhood Playhouse) with students of all ages as well as private students and I've worked with Broadway stars such as Laura Osnes, Karen Mason and Ron Bohmer, who have also recorded my music, and I'm excited to bring my 20 yrs of teaching experience to Berlin! I teach songwriting as well, if that is something you're interested in. I'm a classically trained singer who performed with the San Francisco Opera and other companies both in opera and musical theatre for many years. Though I specialize now in musical theatre, I am happy and comfortable teaching you to sing in whatever style you prefer. The basics are the same! In our lessons, we will work on breath, correct vowel pronunciation, placement, diction, etc... as well as getting rid of the tension and habits that keep us from singing freely and beautifully. We will also work on the musical and dramatic aspects of the material we choose together, so that you will feel comfortable at an audition or a performance. And I keep lessons fun so that you can both learn and progress each week AND enjoy yourself! Whether just starting out or a professional who needs help working on an audition or role, I can help you reach your goals!

Ioannis
Acting Technique, Theory, and Audition Preparation
There are many considerations for how one performs - from comprehensive theory and how it manifests to the physical connection between the body and mind. In our lessons we will take an individualised approach; some actors struggle with confidence, others with emotional connections, most with sincere relaxation. For the more cerebral actors, understanding the theory behind the motive helps internalise its necessity. Simplicity is a great form, but only when assumed knowingly. As for myself, I have 11 years' experience in the field - 7 professionally - spanning theatre, commercials, musical theatre, and dance. I've performed in numerous theatres across the UK (as well as Cyprus) and have been featured in a number of international commercials.
