About Me

I am a writer/director with feature films (HBO Europe, AMC US) and TV shows under my belt. As a previous associate lecturer at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts in London, I have experience in collaborating with young students at the beginning of their journeys.

At the same time, I have been running international workshops for people of all ages and levels of interest. I do not have a guidebook, I am here to listen and to help you on your specific journey.

I hold a Master's degree in Rural Development from Ghent University, where I graduated summa cum laude. Additionally, I have a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness from National Chung Hsing University, where I achieved a near-perfect GPA. I am fluent in Haitian Creole and French, advanced in English, and have intermediate proficiency in Spanish and German. If you are serious about writing, it needs to be worked on in conversation with others, as well as on your own. You may have written for a long time, or just be taking a first step to find a safe environment to share your work with someone else. Writing can be such an enriching practice (which may even transform your life), but this doesn't mean it is easy or fulfilling all the way. There are bumps and blocks and tensions... one great way through them is to start to build a community... a good place to start can be to find someone to guide the process of writing and finding ways to support your creativity. I can also signpost to places to go and can guide you to group opportunities and communities, whatever your means.

I am a published poet and fiction writer and have worked as a writing tutor for 5 years. I have an MA in Creative Writing and am studying towards a PhD. I work as a writing mentor for poets and writers from many different backgrounds.

I teach film acting classes with a focus on acting for film, TV, and commercials. In these classes, you will learn how to act naturally and believably in front of the camera, with attention to subtlety, timing, and awareness of framing and shots.

We work with text and scenes, with an emphasis on script interpretation, emotional build-up, and developing authentic acting for various formats. You will learn how to adapt your acting to commercials (clear and direct) and to film and series (layered and subtle).

The lessons are tailored to your playing level, so that you can develop at your own pace and work specifically on your strengths and areas for improvement.

Thanks to my experience as both an actor and a director, you will gain insight not only into acting but also into how a set works. I will guide you through the practical side of the field, such as auditions, self-tapes, collaborating with the director and camera, and what is expected of you on a shooting day.

The lessons are personal and aimed at developing self-confidence and camera acting skills. Suitable for both children and adults.

I am a teacher and educational content creator specializing in the humanities, contemporary culture, and interdisciplinary analysis of the human experience through film, music, philosophy, history, and art. My approach goes beyond traditional teaching, aiming to cultivate a critical, aesthetic, and profound understanding of how we perceive the world.

My main area of expertise is European and arthouse cinema, with a particular interest in directors who have transformed cinematic language, such as Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini, Andrei Tarkovsky, Jean-Luc Godard, and Michael Haneke. I analyze film not only as entertainment but also as a form of visual thought, capable of expressing complex philosophical, emotional, and social ideas. In my classes, I explore narrative, aesthetics, symbolism, and the relationship between cinema and society.

In the musical field, I work from a broad perspective, encompassing everything from classical music (Beethoven, Mahler, Debussy, Bach) to contemporary genres such as alternative rock, shoegaze, and post-rock. Bands like My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Radiohead are part of my analysis, especially regarding sonic texture, emotionality, and atmospheric construction. I also explore the history of rock as a cultural phenomenon and its impact on youth and social identity.

Philosophy is another fundamental pillar of my teaching. Psychology is another key area, focusing on the psychology of art, perception, emotions, and identity. I explore how film, music, and culture shape the human mind and how individuals construct meaning from aesthetic and social experiences.

Although it may seem like a different field, I also incorporate football as a cultural and social phenomenon, analyzing its symbolic dimension, its impact on collective identity and its relationship with contemporary narrative, passion and community building.
