In my opinion, accents are one of the many aspects of acting that make a character in a film, play or musical more accurate and believable. Accents and different voice types provide information about a character such as where they are from? Information about their class? Their different personality traits, etc. My classes will be dedicated to teaching students how to perform different accents accurately and to be consistent with them. There will be activities regarding the use of different accents testing how difficult they can be to sustain. The lessons will be fun and interactive and hopefully allow students to develop their communication skills as well as their skills in speech and accent.

About Me

Hello! My name is Bradley, I am 23 years old and I am a graduate from the Guildford School of Acting. Since before I started acting, I found the ability to speak in different accents very interesting. Therefore, I took it upon myself to teach myself different accents and what you need to do to be able to make them as accurate as possible. My goal as a tutor is to encourage and support younger actors who are looking to improve their accent and dialect skills and as a whole improve their confidence. My classes will be fun and interactive and test the students listening and speaking skills. All in all I want my students to feel proud of themselves after every lesson, feeling they have gained a lot from the class and are eager to keep on learning.
