Hi, my name is Gabriel. I'm the head coach of the chess team of the National University of Mexico (UNAM) since 2010. I speak fluent English as I lived six years in Oxford, England, when I was a child and I practice it since then.

With the UNAM's team I have obtained the following titles:

I am a Latvian Candidate Master with an international FIDE rating of 2059 and an English Chess Federation rating of 2120, and an online rating of 2400, reflecting a strong competitive level. I studied Philosophy and History and have spent decades working on philosophical, social, political, and technological issues.
