Learn Greek for Everyday Life: Beginners,

Learning Greek because you love visiting Greece, have a Greek partner or family, or simply want to speak the language?
These friendly, practical lessons help you build the vocabulary and confidence to use Greek in everyday life. We can start with greetings, pronunciation, introductions, ordering food, shopping, asking questions, family conversations, and common expressions. If you'd like to read and write too, we'll also work on the Greek alphabet at a comfortable pace.
We will practise with short dialogues, real-life scenarios, and vocabulary chosen around your interests. You don't need to know anything before we start, and you won't be expected to memorize long grammar tables before speaking.
I'm a native Greek speaker based in the Netherlands. I can explain things in English when necessary and adjust each lesson to your starting point and goals.

Hi, I'm Olga! I'm originally from Greece and now live in the Netherlands, where I'm raising my children in a Greek-speaking home while they grow up surrounded by Dutch.
I'm a native Greek speaker with C2-level English proficiency qualifications from Cambridge and Michigan. Professionally, I've spent more than eight years working in international marketing, SEO, and content strategy. I've also trained and mentored colleagues and developed practical learning materials, so explaining things clearly and helping others learn is something I genuinely enjoy.
My lessons are friendly, practical, and adapted to the person I'm teaching.
If you're learning English, we can work on everyday conversation, professional communication, writing, or whatever helps you feel more confident. If you're learning Greek, we can focus on speaking, understanding, reading, or connecting with Greek family and culture.
I also enjoy working with children. As a parent raising bilingual children, I know how important it is to make language learning natural and enjoyable. With younger learners, I'd use games, stories, pictures, and playful activities rather than expecting them to sit through a traditional lesson.
