As a native Greek speaker with 15 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds in schools, language centers, online platforms, and one-on-one lessons. My teaching approach is communicative, interactive, and student-centered, helping learners build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing naturally.

Education
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Greek Philology with a specialization in Linguistics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and I am currently completing my Master's degree in Digital Humanities.
I am a Certified Adult Educator and have completed additional professional training in teaching Greek as a foreign and second language, teaching methodologies, and child-centered education. My professional development also includes specialized training in teaching children, differentiated instruction, communicative language teaching, and the design of engaging, learner-centered educational activities for both children and adults.

Over the past fifteen years, I have taught Modern Greek in Greece, the United States, and, more recently, the Netherlands, working with children, teenagers, and adults from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My experience spans public and private education, refugee education programmes, online learning platforms, and one-to-one tutoring, allowing me to adapt my teaching to learners with a wide variety of goals and needs.
Alongside classroom teaching, I have extensive experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and teacher training. I have designed comprehensive Greek language curricula, lesson plans, assessments, and digital learning materials for both children and adults, while supporting educators in the implementation of communicative and learner-centred teaching practices.
I have taught in bilingual immersion education in the United States, helping young learners develop Greek naturally through meaningful communication and interactive activities. I have also worked with adult refugees and migrants, creating inclusive learning environments tailored to learners with diverse educational backgrounds.
Today, I work as a Greek Language and Curriculum Specialist, combining my teaching experience with curriculum design to develop high-quality educational content and innovative language-learning materials. I have also served as Oral Examiner for the Greek Language Certification Examinations (Ellinomatheia), preparing and assessing learners according to internationally recognized standards.
