I am an experienced, qualified, native Spanish and Italian teacher with a BA Degree in "Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures” and Master's Degree in "Translation for special purposes".

Starting during my undergrad years as private tutor, I have been teaching Spanish and Italian for eight years. I can prepare students for their GCSEs, A levels, University exams, revision and DELE exams.

I am very enthusiastic, passionate and creative person so I always find ways to make my tutoring sessions as productive as possible, tailor-made to the student's personality and needs. I also include some fun activities like videos, games, songs, according to their interests and level. I like also offering creative programmes, according to their personal needs and curiosities (e.g. fashion, weddings, italian or spanish cooking, history, tourism, culture, etc).

One to one spanish classes for adults & children.

Bespoke Spainish classes. Whether you are you looking for improving your spanish or to learn from scratch, with my one to one Spanish classes you will learn how to speak with the right accent as well as to communicate when you are abroad, to improve your level at school or just to be able to have conversations in Spanish without any difficulty.

My classes are based and focused on conversation. Conversation is key when it comes to learning. I believe that nothing is more important than to be able to speak a language anywhere and with anyone. That ́s why conversation comes first. Even if I teach and dedicate time to grammar and other topics, I believe that you don ́t know a language until you are able to communicate verbally, which means being able to understand others as well as to speak.

I bespoke my classes based on the client. Fun classes for everyone but specially for children, when I teach through songs, stories, fragments of movies, etc. For the grown ups, I play with situational conversations, work scenarios, restaurants and food knowledge... I will basically tailor my classes to you so you can learn and achieve about exactly what you want.

May and June 2026: In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course).

As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish). The topics that have arisen from recent discussions with students relate to French Caribbean writing, Italian resistance and reprisals in Rome (Fosse Ardiatine), and Spanish Etica franquista in films (among others).

I have supported dissertation and thesis students from 2005, as well as granting informal help while I was a postgraduate student of Linguistics at UCL (this includes Institute of Education, 2000-2005). In essence, I can offer help because I have gone through this requirement myself (Aix-en-Provence for French BA, Berlin for Linguistics). Former students have requested this support for: Italian, French, Spanish and Linguistics & Phonetics.

Outcomes: BA MFL students have progressed to an MA after their final year of study, or attained Firsts at Cambridge (and proceeded to a career in the City).

As summers are now a challenge, and the dissertations need to be in by September (at least in England) I can help you with both your writing, research and oral exam. The year abroad really comes to an end in August, the worst time to be thinking about writing and research. I cannot change the weather but can make your path to a good degree smoother.

I am a tutor with 7+ years of experience teaching at a variety of levels from primary school to GCSE level. I teach English Language, English Literature, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages), Maths, and Creative Writing. I have taught students both in person and remotely, planning lessons using virtual presentations, activities and resources both in the UK and abroad.

I believe the most successful results come from fostering a friendship with my students, and providing constant encouragement and support in their areas of interest. I pride myself on being an attentive listener and carefully adapt to the specific needs of my students, which is particularly helpful for my SEN and ESOL pupils. I have previously volunteered as a mentor with charities such as Al Muntaha Tutoring and Debate Mate, providing mentorship, relevant advice, and support to young people. At the beginning of every lesson I also do short icebreaker activities and challenges with my students, using a points reward system to keep them engaged. Previous students have gone on to become the top of their class and receive recognition at school for both English and Maths.

Lessons start at 1 hour in length, with longer lessons available if required. Lessons are structured according to the needs of the student; this can be working alongside their class syllabus to support them with progress at school, tackling an area or subject they are specifically struggling with, or helping them prepare for national exams such as GCSEs.

I provide feedback after every lesson and detailed progress reports every six months for each student.

I primarily offer online lessons as I have found this works well for me and my students, but in some cases I do teach face-to-face depending on location and availability within London.

Hola, me llamo Francesca. Hello everyone! My name is Francesca. I offer tuition to help students prepare for Spanish exams at secondary school and university level, as well as private lessons and corporate training (invoices provided).

For some years I have been living and working in Spain, in Barcelona. I'm Italian. I studied Spanish starting from level A1 up to level C2, certified by the most prestigious organisation in the study and teaching of the Spanish language, the Instituto Cervantes.

I have been teaching Spanish classes online since 2018.

My lessons can be in Spanish only, from day one, if the student wants. I can use other languages to clear up particularly complicated doubts. My students value this aspect positively because they can improve quickly. Since I have studied Spanish from scratch to mastering the highest level of the language, I do not only understand the doubts my students might have, but I have experienced similar situations to theirs.
