My youngest student is 6 years old and the oldest one is 60 - I believe absolutely everyone can learn a new language and I will be very happy to help you throughout this journey. I'm an avid language myself and I know many tips on how to learn a language efficiently. I have my own small company, related to language learning.

During the lessons I always speak in the target language as much as possible. I love teaching grammar and new words through conversations (as speaking the language is the key to learn it). I also focus on correct pronunciation (especially in Chinese as it's a tonal language and proper pronunciation is even more important than in any other language)

All my lessons are tailored to every person. Some people like learning grammar, some prefer learning vocabulary and others love reading - my teaching style, materials that we use and speed at which we progress will all be catered to you. I can help you prepare for an exam to have casual conversations with the Chinese, the English or the Polish. We will focus exactly on the things you need!

I use textbooks and different online tools but mostly I use my own materials that I have prepared myself. This way I can always be sure that the materials I provide for my students are the best quality and suited exactly for them.
I love talking about Chinese characters - they aren't as scary as they seem! They are like Lego blocks - each character is made up of different smaller parts. I always come up with fun stories to help my students remember.

I always send all the materials needed before the lesson - so that you can print everything if you want.

About Me

Teaching languages is my biggest passion - I love sharing my knowledge with my students! I'm an extremely patient and cheerful person. My lessons are always done in a friendly atmosphere. I speak very clearly and always adjust the speed of speaking to my students.

Education

I am a graduate of Sinology at the University of Warsaw and I have the HSK 5 certificate (level C1). I spent 3 months in Taiwan, completing a month's advanced Chinese language course (at National Sun Yat-sen University) and working there for 2 months.
I have a course completion certificate for Chinese language teachers. I have also completed many advanced Chinese language courses (I have done some of them at Polish universities, two of them in Taiwan and one in Canada, at the University of Quebec).

In May 2022, I took second place in the Polish 21st World Competition in Chinese (Chinese Bridge - 汉语桥).

I use simplified and traditional characters. I am also happy to share my knowledge about various aspects of the culture of Mainland China and Taiwan.
I am constantly developing to be able to pass knowledge to my students in the best possible way, so that learning with me is interesting and effective for them.

I have a Cambridge Proficiency English certificate.
