About Me

My name is Roel, I am 30 years old and have worked a lot in (online) education in recent years. During my years in primary education in Amsterdam, like everyone else, we were forced to provide online classes due to the situation around Covid. At our school, we've even managed to do gym classes online!

My dream of moving to Barcelona was not diminished by Covid. In September 2020 I took the plunge. In Barcelona I gained experience with private lessons at people's homes, at the Dutch school in Spain, but I also started with online Dutch language lessons.

What I am most proud of is the messages from parents. They write about the children who miss me now that I no longer work in the Netherlands, about how their child revived after a difficult year and even about how they want to visit Barcelona!

In the meantime I have started teaching adults, young people and children. Many people who took lessons with me in Spain have since moved to the Netherlands. I love seeing those people realize their dream, just like I did. Even now, the majority of these people follow lessons with me and I am still in contact with them.
