I have 22 years of teaching experience with an Honours degree in Education, a Higher Diploma in Education majoring in English and a TEFL/TESOL certificate. My lessons are tailored according to the needs of my students. In my lessons, I encourage students to speak as much as possible, irrespective of their level of English. My lessons are calm, friendly and 100% student-centred with the first focus being on communication rather than accuracy. Lessons include interactive power points to provide detailed information as well as visuals to demonstrate what I am teaching and to elaborate on the content. These power points include activities and interactive worksheets for the student to attempt during the lesson and for me to help if needed. I also provide homework should the student be willing to do extra work in their spare time. This gets checked at the beginning of each lesson.

Conversational Spanish is a very important part of the learning as it is the natural way to learn it. My classes are designed to help students to learn in a natural way by choosing a topic and dealing with that topic from all angles: grammar, speaking, listening and translating. That helps students to gradually absorb what they are studying. I usually conduct a relaxing lesson where students feel they can improve and learn at their own pace.
Even if you are an absolute beginner you will be able to speak some Spanish by the end of the first lesson.
