MY LESSONS:
Learning Estonian can be quite hard on your own or in a group. As a native speaker, I can help you become fluent in Estonian by mostly practicing conversation and pronunciation. I also help with other aspects of language learning, like writing, reading, and listening. Sometimes I help with Harno exam preparations as well. I tend to work with a maximum of two students at once, so couples, friends, and family members are welcome to have the lesson together. We will be using English as a base language in our lesson.

MY TEACHING STYLE:
- Anxiety and perfection-free space - mistakes are welcome!
- You choose the time, the place, and the learning style
- Every student is unique and has their own pace
- I will provide the study materials for you
- Flexibility in learning

If you are in a need to start learning a new language or you are willing to improve your skills, it is much easier than it seems. I can help you expand your vocabulary, learn grammar and spelling, overcome language barrier and work on your pronunciation, which is pretty important if you ask me :) I have one and a half year of tutoring experience with different age groups. During this time I have developed my own teaching system by paying attention to the most effective methods and practices. Hello! You will learn to understand Estonian speech, make sentences, speak on different topics, learn the vocabulary you need for your work, learn grammar rules and apply them easily. I am teaching using progressive communication method, where you learn the whole phrase, not word by word. This way it is easier to remember grammar and make grammatically correct sentences.

I have completed a master's degree in teaching Estonian language and literature, German as an additional major. After that, I continued my studies at the Master's degree in translation, where I completed a 2-year program, at the moment I still have a thesis to do. I have been working as a teacher for 17 years now, the last 3 years at the Tallinn English College, where I teach Estonian language, German language, literature, research paper writing on both the national and international (IBO) curriculum. I have also worked as a translator, editor and private teacher (also online).
