About Me

My name is Estelle, and I’m a native French speaker with a true passion for languages and teaching. I hold a Master’s degree in Translation and Language Services, and I’ve been working as a freelance linguist for over seven years. I also spent a year as a French assistant teacher in a secondary school in Ireland, where I taught students aged 12 to 18 and helped some of them prepare for their Leaving Certificate exam. This experience gave me valuable insight into how young learners progress, and how to make language learning engaging and effective, whether in a classroom or one‐on‐one.

What I love most about teaching is helping learners gain confidence, not just in grammar, but in real-life communication. I know what it’s like to learn a foreign language myself (I speak English, Portuguese, and some Spanish), so I understand the challenges, the hesitation, and the excitement when things finally click.
